Carol Walker of the Birmingham Trichology Centre is listed on the UK register of Expert Witnesses.

Carol started clinical Trichology in 1990.  Her work has taken her into media via television, radio and the press, which has run very closely along side her clinical practise. She has dealt with news and reviews, giving help with programme contents; been a guest speaker on radio programmes, dealing with queries during live phone-in segments, and articles for magazines.

Carol has also been asked to assist with the trading standards in different areas of the country, and has also taken in queries and concerns from around the world, which has taken her into legal work.

�        Court Appearances as an Expert Witness - Carol has attended Court many times in England, Wales and also Scotland (which has different Court rules) over the years, however due to the changes/reforms these are becoming less frequent.

�        Type of Cases � Legal reports on RTAs, industrial as well as all areas of hairdressing, including products and materials used upon the scalp and hair.

�        Criminal � Carol has been called upon to give her professional opinion/expertise in evidence for the C.P.S. and Defendant.  This area of expertise may cover identification due to hairstyle, colour, additional hair and even beard growth.  Also whether the hair has been pulled out, plucked or shed naturally.
