The Birmingham Trichology Centre was set up in 1990 by, myself, Carol Walker. On this website you will be able to find details about my work experience and the range of services that I offer.

I am a practising Trichologist, Hairdresser and Lecturer specialising in the field of litigation in Defence, Plaintiff and now joint instruction cases as an Expert Witness (Civil Procedure Rules – Part 35).  This work has increased over the years due to the interest in hair and scalp damage.  I work very closely with the Manufacturing houses so that I am up dated regularly on products and their applications, which are constantly changing.

I am a qualified and practising wig maker, producing bespoke wigs and hairpieces for both the N.H.S. and private Clients.  I am again called upon to give evidence of workmanship as an expert in this field.

As well as the above, I am a qualified Assessor for the hairdressing industry.  The duties are to monitor and maintain the standards laid down for the NVQ by the awarding body, the City and Guilds, London.
